The Institute for Strategy and History publishes The Journal of Warfare Inquiry. It includes thematic based papers submitted to our board of editors on a regular basis, and after our peer-reviewing process they are released on our quarterly schedule.

Upon learning about the Second World War as a child, he spent his time at university furthering his understanding of the strategic and military history of the twentieth-century. His War Studies MSc dissertation focused on guerrilla warfare, terrorism, and the Vietnam War. Currently, he is researching insurgency and strategy of the socialist Cuban military.
Quinn Beggs served 26 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, doing multiple tours of duty in different conflict zones. This allowed him to combine his military experience with an MSc from the University of Glasgow to expand his interests in military history, political science, and sociology.
